All the developmental efforts will go in vain unless the Health, Nutrition, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene aspects are not addressed efficiently. Hence PRASTUTEE has been concentrating on this since its inception and the major happenings are:

• Capacity Building Training for Women Self-help Group Members, Rural Youth and Adolescent Girls on Health, sanitation, Water and Hygienic at Puri and Koraput district with the support of UNICEF, RWSS, District Water Sanitation Mission .
• Organised ASHA Contracept programme in  Pottangi, Semiliguda, Nandapur and Koraput Block of Koraput Dist with support of United Nation Population Fund       
• 100 villages cover under micro-planning on maternal and child health
• 200 village youth volunteers are engaged to provide peer education on maternal and child health, Girl-child Education, hand washing, Awareness of HIV /AIDS, Rutina Immunisation, Nutritional support to Pregnant Women etc.    
• 100 villages have a village resource centre on maternal and child health and pre / primary education
• Organised training with Adolescent girls under MEENA Club at Gop block of Puri District
• Construction of Village drain, bathing place, washing platform, Tube well platform for community use at Gop Block of Puri District
• Construction of school toilet and urinal in 18 nos of school at Puri Sadar Block, Puri district
•   Construction of 234 individual household latrines for BPL households at Puri Sadar Block, Puri District and 76 BPL households at Kumbar Limca of Padmapur GP of Koraput District
• Facilitate Block Resource centre on Swach Bharat Aviyan  and National Drinking Water Project  in Dasmantpur, Laxmupur, Kotpad and Lamatput block under the support of Water Sanitation Service Organisation
